5 Coastal States Bank may pay overdrafts at our discretion and reserves the right to terminate this service at any time. You are required to pay a $31 overdraft fee for each overdraft transaction that is paid by the bank. There is a limit of $155 each day in total fees that you can be charged for overdrawing your account. Items not paid will be returned and you will incur a $31 returned item fee. Overdraft service applies to checks, pre-authorized electronic debits, and online banking and bill payment transactions. Additionally, ATM withdrawals and one-time debit card transactions are covered if you choose to opt in to this service for those transactions. Reimbursement of overdraft coverage payments must be made promptly by making a deposit in your account. Overdraft items are generally not covered for accounts that are not in good standing or do not have regular deposits.
